Discovery Frankfurt was a new experience for me. Based in a gigantic hall with very large windows (tons of light!), it was a joy and a pleasure to show with remarkable artists and exhibition facilitators.

Many thanks to the jury for accepting my work to show; that was also an honor.  We don't always need or want external validation and acceptance... on the other hand, it can be nice to experience.

My neighbors were compassionate, talented and interesting and every time I exhibit, I always learn something new.

This time was a first for that type of scale/box and the space looked lonely until people entered, then it was "just enough" and would, imo, have been too full with more.  These days, everyone's filling things up with more, more, more, it was rather a luxury to feel like "just enough" surrounded me.

Thanks for an amazing time and hopefully we shall see one another under favorable circumstances again. May the roads along your journey be filled with kindness.

Much love and gratitude,
J

There is only one material absolutely essential in my studio; oil paint and/or a combination of pigments and linseed oil so i can make my own.

Direction in LIFE
Incredible location, great atmosphere, competent, interesting artists.
When creating art, be courageous in changing something that may already be "finished", may already be "published", but may not yet have found a new home aka "sold." (or you just don't like the way it looks/feels.
QUESTIONS ANSWERED #1: DO YOU LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE YOU ARE WORKING IN YOUR STUDIO/ATELIER? Source: M. in Munich "ArtMUC", October 2022.
Over-sized, gigantic artworks on wood, canvas or other supports is not always practical, even though the visual impact is often impressive. For those who wish to fill up more wall space, however, while adhering to ease of transport or hanging, polyptychs could be the creative answer.
