There's a lot of words that have a lower vibrational frequency... we say them and our bodies collapse in upon themselves, we jerk or twitch as though struck physically. The words have the power to make small and literally bring us down... but only if we let them.
We can, instead of fending off words of negativity and ridicule, perhaps costing us extra energy, choose to change our focus into those of empowerment and encouragement. Coming into neutrality whenever lower vibrational words are used may also be a possibility...? No spark of negative emotion and they will lose their power altogether.
Making up words to suit the occasion is, I feel, part of the nature of living languages... all language grows, expands, changes to mean other things.
So the other day i made up the word Fremdstolz. It is a word meaning that we are experiencing proudness for a person other than ourselves... perhaps a stranger.
Taken from a German word that is intended to convey the feeling when one is embarassed for anothers' faults, missteps, embarassments... why not react with love, instead? Why would it not be possible to move along the spectrum of feelings, let go of feeling any awkwardness for the behavior of another person, instead loving them unconditionally... and maybe this time around, find things to be proud of others for?
I like the idea quite a bit.

The drying aka oxidizing times of oil paintings varies. Most would say, however, that they are thoroughly "dry" after about 100 years. Soooo romantic.
